JOCK TANNER: is a man that has just died cause of old age he also was the Katipo that protected the farmlands from a gang named  the Raiders .The Raiders were very cruel men that destroyed the barns they set barns on fire , scared people so they could move to the mainlands.

MA CROCKER

Ma Crocker is a very mean one eyed lady in charge of the kelpers.Her father and her husband (who died five years ago) used to lead the kelpers.Ma Crocker is to avenge her father because a man named the Katipo killed him.

The vicar is approximately 70 he lived on the peninsula during the raids. He only has a small congregation as most people have moved to the main lands or the cemetery. His last good friend has just passed away. He keeps secrets,pretends to be crazy but is actully clever ,does'nt trust constable Judason and has a book about local shipwerks. The Reverand is a diabetic.

RIDE OF THE KATIPO

Character study- ride of the katipo: Jack Talbot: is a teenage boy (about 13 years old) who has run away to wetapunga bay. He does'nt get get on with his step mother and father. His grandfather (Bert Talbot) used to farm on the peninsula.

Art

Today for art we learnt mixed medium art. Today I learnt  how to paint, collage, dye and pastel art. It was fun because I got most of my  art finished in one day and a lot of paint was poured all over the floor and we had lots of fun cleaning it up overall it was a great art session.
